Christmas Cards INFO...

Thanksgiving will be here before you know it... and I have already started designing Christmas Cards for people. If you want a custom designed Christmas card this year let me know.

$15-20 is the cost for the design file... then you take it to your choice of printer. I often do the "Cost-co" size for people; which is 7.5x6. If you print it there you also get free envelopes which is a great deal. However, cards can be any size you want... also you don't even have to print them... you can send them as a E-card as well.

Plan ahead, but I can do them from now until Christmas! or after if you really want. ;)

Super Fun Wedding Announcement!

This was the front of her card.

Alison wanted a really fun look to her wedding announcement.

She not only was completely in love with her future husband... but how these turned out. :)

And this was the back, with all the info they needed.

Typography is fun! I love the simplicity of this poster. I love the colors. 

She'd seen something similar online, but couldn't find it available for sale. 

Plus she really wanted it in a different color pallet, than what was out there.

It was for her new baby's nursery. She'd made a quilt in these colors and wanted one for her baby's room.

She brought me some fabric swatches so we could get the colors right.

Christmas Cards... 2011

I don't usually advertise (other than a shout out on Facebook or something) that I do Christmas Cards... but I do them. It is fun. I love these simple designs that bring in the Christmas Cheer! I usually just do family and once and awhile for friends. This year I did my neighbors. She is having a baby just after Christmas. 

And here is one that I did for my Brother. Their son is on a mission... so using multiple pictures was a good way to highlight the whole family.

And... our very own.

We lost our pictures from our Europe vacation (hard drive gone bad), but had posted some to Facebook. So they had to be used SUPER small to high quality for printing. I had to think about that for design purposes. :) But I was happy with how it turned out. Would never know that is why we had small pics. 

YW Subway Art

This was a subway art for a YW activity, I think it was for their new beginnings. :) They wanted it done in black and white so that they could be printed for each girl. Really fun to do, and also a challenge. I felt like all the words were really important. When she got her file she said...

I was so happy that she liked it. We also did cupcake toppers. I will have to see if she got a picture of them all put together. :)

Baby Stats Subway Art

This was a fun little baby gift to make for my cute neighbor, 

we were neighbors growing up... and now were neighbors again. :) 

She had pinned something similar to pinterest, so I thought it would be fun to surprise her with one.

Lucky for me she'd posted his stats on Facebook, so it was easy to keep it a surprise.
